THE SCAM GAME

Now, as you go along reading this story, it gets funnier.  Or should I say Crazier! 

We just recently went to one of these "Get Rich Pyramid Scams".  Before I get into my story, We call these people that wanted us to go to this thing, Bill and Doedoe.  And I will say this:
#1.   We had no intention of getting into this.
#2.   Doing a favor, for someone , uh, I won't go there.  LOL.  I will be nice.

To Start.  Bill and Doedoe said these people bought this house and made 6 figures a year.  Well, believe me, I was not impressed by their house, at the fact they made 6 figures a year.  I wondered what kind of house Bill and Doedoe lived in, if this house was impressive to them.  I am not putting down anyone's home.  Facts.  Math.  These people think they can quit their jobs and not work.  Try again.  This thing is a job.  You have to recruit Suckers, uh, clients.  This takes hours, money to entertain, oh, I wonder if they have noticed the price of GAS!  Oh, almost forgot, they have to buy and sell tickets for any conventions that might arise.  Like the one for this past weekend.

It was on a Tuesday Night.  We sat there for 2 hours listening to a guy on a video.  He starts out with, this isn't a Pyramid, this is a funnel.  Heck, "Still a Pyramid, just turned upside down".  Derrrrrr!  About how he went to school, cost him money, not getting any where, the pay isn't great, driving a junk car, got into this, and quit his job, now he is rich, and has a nice car.  Now, this was the same story, about himself, different scenario, every ten minutes.  B-O-R-I-N-G-! ! !   Skip actually fell asleep, as well as myself.  Until, these people at this meeting applauded for this person, on video!!  Come on,  this person, don't even know these people exist.  And, they are applauding him.  Goes a little more, then they applaud, and yell, YEAH, YEAH,  whistle.  Dang, it's a video clowns. I wanted to get up and say, "What is with you people. Its a dang video!" Almost felt like I was in some sort of cult. Eeesh!  After 2 hours of this, the guy introduces his wife who is going to talk.    People started yelling screaming, yeah, yay, wahoo, applaud- ing.  Oh boy!!  Please not another 2 hours of this.  She comes on talks for about ten minutes, and announces, they are going to take a break.  O Lord!  This is when we decided to leave.  As we were leaving,  Doedoe, asked, "When can we get together".  Ha, she had her date book out ready to write an Appointment(?) with her and Bill.   Skip told them we don't have time for this. Bill insisted on, us watching the rest of this stupid video for Suckers. OOPS, did I say that?  I apologize.  Ouch, just bit my tongue.  Anyway, I wasn't feeling well, that evening, and wanted to go, Skip wanted to go.  He told Bill and Doedoe we need to go.  As we walked out, I noticed we weren't the only couple leaving. Hmmm!  And remarked, how this was a joke.  LOL!

Sunday, came, Skip gets a phone call.  Its this couple, wants to come to our house to pick up the Video.   They said they were on their way to Kansas City, they were going to some people's house about this Pyramid thing, uh Funnel. And they needed the video.  We kind a speculate, this is a phoney story.  Hmm.  I think this is a way, to get in our home and yak yak bout this Pyramid, sorry, Funnel.  Well, they called us, WHILE, we are in church.  Instead, we told them we would meet them somewhere and give them the video. We went home picked up the video, and met them in a parking lot.  Anyway, guess what?  Hope you are sitting down for the rest of this story.  They wanted to get together.  Skip told them this isn't for us.  Okay, Here it comes.  Bill and Doedoe, said, "Well, would give us $50.00, so we can say you are our customer.  W-H-A-T-!-!-!-!   Think we better find a mirror and see if STUPID is written on our forehead.  Give me a Jake Break.


OK OK,  stop laughing!!

ANYBODY KNOW THE MORAL TO THIS STORY?
There might be more than one Moral.  I am sure there is.

After being interrupted, I don't how many times, trying to finish, I got it finished.  I am tired of editing this.
