FRIDAY THE 13th! Do You Believe?

Well, being Friday the 13th,  thought I would put my 13 Cents in.  Or 13 Sense?  Hmm!!

The show on TV, Ghost Hunters, on SyFy.   Come on, give me a break!   Anybody who has had any experience with ghosts will tell you,  they don't come out, only at night.   And they don't make an appearance, at your will.   Also, the flashlight.  Do the ghost hunting at night, and use a flashlight, but don't do the hunting in the daylight.  But in away I can see that, as far as using the flashlight at night,  to check where the sound is coming from.  Oh and the mist or fog of a ghost, that has been on the show, has not convinced me.  The ship they did an investigation, it is well known the ship is haunted.  So disputing it would be a bad thing.  Hello!    I do watch the show, because I love the history of the places they do, do their investigations.  I do find the program, rather interesting.    Ok, shall we go on now?!

Ghost #1
My kids said, the bathroom they always didn't feel alone in there.  Uh, real nice, huh?   One afternoon,  I was preparing for my son's graduation party,  my daughter was sitting in the chair, next to me.  We were probably about 2 feet apart.  .  Clear as day, I heard a little girl giggling. I said to Deirdre,  "What are you laughing at?"  Now this sounded like a small child, Deirdre was 13 at time.  Deirdre said to me,  "I thought it was you Mom."  This child love to hide things.  I finally would say out loud.  "Okay, not funny put it back."  Then the item would be found where it was last seen.

Ghost #2
There was a woman there too, I believe.  She love to make Chocolate chip cookies.   I would smell them in the air, I would go outside, to see, maybe it was a neighbor making chocolate chip cookies.   No odors of any such kind were outside.  The aroma was very strong.  Funny thing is it was its strongest in the living room every time we smelled them.   LOL,  she burnt them once. Chris had smelled them as well.  And it was his favorite cookies too.  No, never saw any.  Sometimes you could smell a perfume. Not often.  It wasn't a perfume, Deirdre or I had.  It was pleasant though.

 Ghost#3
About 6 A. M.   I heard a flute being played.   It sounded like an Indian playing it. It was a tune, that would be very hard to copy.  It was very different.   Geesh, almost sounded like it was right next to me, by my bed.  It was loud.  Woke me up.  It played for a while.  I thought to myself.  That was a loud dream.  Okay, so I got up to get ready for the day, to take my son to school.  Chris came upstairs,  said to me;  "Mom, did you hear a flute?"  Oh, boy.  Wasn't no dream!  A   friend of his was telling me one day, that he thought Chris was crazy,  and that Chris said he heard a flute being played in the house.  I looked at him and, "He did, I was upstairs and his room was down stairs.  He heard and so did I."  So be careful when you think wrong of someone.  You might be talking to the other who also experienced it.  Is this being judgmental too?

 Ghost #4
This one was the worse, this one was a man.  He love hanging out in my bedroom.  Times I felt he was in bed with me.  But I could had been dreaming.  It was a horrible feeling.  He was very evil.  Be times he would, smell so bad.  Actually, it was most of the time.   Smelled like a man who been working out in the hot sun, and no deodorant.  Sometimes it would be cigar smoke.  Smoking of any kind was not allowed in my house.  One day had a friend there.   It was so funny,  he kept smelling his arm pits.  Couldn't figure out the smell.  Oh, the smell was bad that day.  I looked at him, oh, you met my ghost.  He said I didn't know you had ghosts here. Yep!  Told him, I didn't say anything, because so many people think you're crazy, or just nonsense.  Maybe this is the voice I heard,  was this guy.  Who knows.

My X husband never believed in Ghosts, even after I went to him and asked him what did he say to me in the kitchen.  He was in the bathroom shaving at the time, he said he wasn't in the kitchen.  It was a man's voice, loud and clear.  Have to say it didn't sound like my husband, but he was the only man in the house so it had to be him.  Right?!?!

Some of us believe in ghosts and some of us don't. " Those of us that  do, are told we are crazy and,   No such thing, its nonsense."   Well guess what folks, I am a believer, and have witnesses.

My dog was down in the basement with me one day, as I was doing the laundry.  All of a sudden the fur on his back went straight up.  Started to bark, and backing away from something, I couldn't see.  I couldn't get him to calm down.  I kept telling  him there is nothing there.  Finally I got in front of him, told him its ok, nothing is here.  He still kept looking pass me, barking, I walked over to where he was barking, told him nothing is here, even waved my arms in the air, see, nothing here.  Finally, he calmed down.  Deirdre had seen him do this once, down the hallway upstairs.

I was watching TV one night.  I changed the channel, don't remember to what, but not what the TV wanted to be set at.  Kept going from 7 to 77, 7 to 77.
I couldn't get it to stop.  I yelled at Chris are changing the channel.  He said no. Told him what was going on he came upstairs, by the time he got there it quit.  Can't explain that one. Oh the show it was changing to was the Red Green Show, that I hated.  Crazy.

OTHER PLACES

I have been in other places and could feel something odd in the place.  i don't say a lot.  Most people will say, yeah right.

I was in a restaurant in Boonville, MO.  I be in the other room thought I was hearing someone in there.  Thought to myself, must be something else.  Time went by, one day we were sitting there talking to the owner, and his helper.
All of sudden I saw this mist.  Now this is in the day time, hello.  It was very unusual mist.  Actually kind a pretty.   The way it moved was so interesting.  Not like a cloud, or what you see on TV, really different.   It was standing behind the helper, it was there for quite a while.  It scared the helper, he saw I was staring at something.  He turned to look at what I was looking at.  It sort a vanished.  I asked the owner, "Is this place haunted?"  He said yes, but never told anyone, because no one believe him.   He told me who it might be.  He said, he never saw him but heard him, and things moved.   I laughed and said, "Well, I think, I just saw him."  He said his partner, said it was ridiculous, there was no such thing.  So, he just didn't talk about it to anyone.

Some of us are more sensitive to ghosts.  For whatever reason, we are more open to it.  Not because we want to believe, that's just the way it is.  There are some who, don't believe at all.  And some who don't believe at all,  then one day,  Boo!  LOL.  Remember, I have saved my baby once from a drowning and once from the water heater exploding.  My X didn't believe in that either, until he was part of insight?  No, can't do it at will.  I can't.  Just happens.

Yea, maybe I am crazy.  LOL.  I always say, if you're crazy, people will  leave ya alone.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed this.  Would really like to hear what some of you think.  Or, maybe some of your EXPERIENCES!?!   BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Vietnam Vet and His Dog

Skip and I went to the V A Hospital, for his regular check up.  While we sat there, a man came in with a large size doberman.    I looked at the dog's face.  His eyes were bright, and he  has such a loving face.  I noticed too, that he was wearing a medic vest.   I asked the gentleman if the dog was in training, or was the dog for himself.  He said the dog was for him, and sometimes for his wife.    He suffers diabetes.  Ice, insulin, and whatever else he needed, the dog carries in his vest.  So the gentleman sat down beside me.  It was so funny how this dog watched his master.  He proceeded to tell me about the dog.   The dog's name is Mooch.  We will call the Gentleman, Rick.

I asked him how much does the dog weigh.   Rick said he weighs 100 pounds.  As Rick was sitting there, Mooch got between his legs and put his paws across Rick's stomach.  He watched Rick very intently.  Mooch can sense when Rick may need insulin, so he tells, Rick he needs to be taking his medicine.   Rick started to tremor, and Mooch watched over him as, if Rick was his child.  I reached out my hand, then, Mooch laid his chin on my hand.  Rick said, if I held my hand there long enough, Mooch would fall asleep.

Rick lives out in the country.  About 3 years ago, a pup was left at his front door.   A 6 month old doberman puppy.  The pup, decided to eat out of his dog's dish, and this how he gained the name Mooch.  So, Rick and his wife took the dog in and raised him.  Rick, noticed how Mooch did certain things, always walked to the right side of him, and.he been neutered.  In time Rick would be suffering diabetes, where he need the assistance.  Rick decided to have Mooch trained.

So, Mooch was off to school  went to be trained as a medic dog.  Rick explained to the owner of the school, how Mooch became his dog.  She told him it sounded like it was one of her pups.  She breeds and sells  large sized dobermans.  A pup was sold to someone, that Mooch was found, or should I say dumped at time Rick mentioned of finding him.

Of course the trainer, got to know Mooch and Rick quite well.  Mooch graduated from school a week ago.  I didn't ask if he had a graduation party.  Bet he did.  He has papers and a license to prove his degree as a Medic Dog.  I saw his license, quite impressive.  His papers he don't have yet.  His sude-O papers are with him.  The trainer told Rick, she would give a him a free puppy, when he may need one, if something happen to Mooch.

Rick stated he served Vietnam  and Skip said he did too.  They both had some war stories they shared.  Then Rick went on and explained he was exposed to Agent Orange.  Skip told him he thought so, due to the sores up and down his arms.  His finger nails were gone, due to the Agent Orange is why he suffers Diabetes.   I have seen men who suffered Agent Orange.

I said to Rick, Mooch ending up on his porch, was meant to be.  He said, yes, for him it was a God Send.  As they left I said that Mooch is Rick's baby.  Had to laugh, and say, "No, Rick is Mooch's baby.

It was such a pleasure meeting Rick and Mooch at the V A hospital.  It was very rewarding.  I hope I come across them again one day.

I think it was wonderful that, Mooch came along in Rick's life. Rick has been truly blessed with such wonderful creature, that loves Rick so much.

Miracles are around us.  Sometimes we need to open our eyes and see them.
